Exploring the Expansion of Silversea’s Pricing Structure

Silversea has expanded its pricing structure to offer three different fare options, tailored to the varying preferences of its guests, according to the company’s press release.

In addition to its successful Door-to-Door all-inclusive fare which delivers guests a complete travel experience starting and ending at their homes, Silversea has upgraded its Port-to-Port all-inclusive fare. This fare is now available across all voyages.

In a new inclusion to Silversea’s Fare Guarantee program, the Port-to-Port fare will from now on qualify for the same promotions and savings as the Door-to-Door fare. In addition to this, Silversea has announced a new Essential fare for those guests looking for a voyage-only experience with the added benefit of flexible journey arrangements, the company stated.

“We are thrilled to provide our guests an expanded pricing structure that caters to a wider range of preferences, offering the luxury of choice,” stated Roberto Verdino, Silversea’s SVP of Revenue Management. “We believe that having a choice is the essence of true luxury. Our guests can now enjoy a more customised range of pricing choices with the Door-to-Door, Port-to-Port or Essential fares, all the while benefitting from the excellent service and other hallmarks of luxury that Silversea is famous for.”

The three revised fares include:

• Door-to-Door All-Inclusive Fare: This fare, which comes with a price guarantee, features private executive transfers to and from the airport, international flights with optional Business Class upgrades at lower rates, shore excursions and more.
• Port-to-Port All-Inclusive Fare: A newly upgraded fare plan, the Port-to-Port all-inclusive package is now available for all voyages. This fare is perfect for those guests who prefer to organise their own pre- and post-cruise travel arrangements, nonetheless with included shore excursions. Guests opting for Silversea’s Port-to-Port can avail the Fare Guarantee program, along with the same promotions and savings as those choosing Door-to-Door fares.
• Essential Fare: Silversea’s brand new value-for-money, voyage-only fare option provides all onboard inclusive amenities and services for select soon-to-depart voyages. It allows the guests the independence to organise their own air travel, transfers, and shore experiences based on their personal schedules. It comes with stricter terms and conditions, and does not include shore excursions on ocean-going voyages, but includes shore excursions, expedition gear, and charter flights for expedition voyages.
