A cruise ship dancer from the Big Apple has been arrested in Florida for allegedly possessing and distributing child sex abuse material — with victims as young as 2 years old engaged in sexual acts with adults.

Jamaal Wade, 26, of Washington Heights, was arrested by US Marshals in Broward County on Sunday and charged with receipt, possession and distribution of child porn, WPLG reported.

It was not immediately clear if the arrest was made before or after a cruise.

“Wade distributed files containing sexually explicit images of minors from/on a computer in New York, New York via the Telegram messaging application,” states a complaint filed by the Southern District Court of New York obtained by The Post.

The victims were described as “prepubescent minors and minors who had not attained 12 years of age.”

An investigation was launched in October after federal agents seized the phone of a user of the messaging app Telegram. Wade allegedly sent that person child sexual abuse material depicting victims as young as 2.

The recipient informed authorities he had visited Wade’s Manhattan apartment to view the prohibited material alongside him. He also shared the Instagram account’s username utilized by Jamaal, according to the submission.

It is further stated that in January, the individual forwarded eight videos to the undercover FBI employee. These videos showcased male children, aged roughly between four and eight, involved in intimate activities, which included oral and anal intrusion, with adult males.

Wade additionally confessed to the man about his prior arrest in Detroit for behaviour displayed “while on tour.”

The police records of Detroit verify his arrest on Feb. 18, 2020, based on accusations of molesting an 11-year-old boy. It remained uncertain whether a conviction took place.

The suspect has allegedly confessed in online discussions to molesting a boy while in a tour with a performing band.

A federal agent initiated a conversation with Wade during the investigation. Wade sent them multiple videos of young boys being raped and sexually abused, as documented in the court filing.

He mentioned that he has also worked on cruise ships as a dancer, however the document does not specify the particular company.

But according to a 2020 profile posted by a staffing website, it describes Jamaal Wade as previously employed by both the Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and also in on stage performances.

In a discussion on the 22nd of March, Wade allegedly informed the FBI agent that he had introduced his ‘collection’ of child sexual exploitation material ‘on the ship’.

He has been charged with one count of receiving and distributing child pornography and another count for possession of child pornography.

If found guilty, he may be incarcerated for up to 20 years for each charge.

As of Tuesday, Wade stays in the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach, awaiting extradition to Manhattan, as reported by WPLG.

The Post has reached out to Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines for comment.
