Explora Journeys Teaming Up with the 37th America’s Cup: A New Partnership Announced
Explora Journeys announced its new partnership as a Global Partner of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup, which will take place this year in Barcelona, Spain.
Competing teams from the United States, UK, Italy, Switzerland, and France will participate in the Louis Vuitton Cup Challenger Series. They vie for the opportunity to compete against the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Match.
In the spirit of the collaboration, Explora Journeys plans to host the America’s Cup trophy onboard the Explora I on June 19.
Pierfrancesco Vago, the executive chairman of the MSC Group’s Cruise Division, affirms: ”Our collaboration with the America’s Cup highlights our shared maritime roots and achievements. This partnership combines the rich narrative of the Cup’s history with our own 300-year maritime tradition. It epitomizes our commitment to quality, innovation, and a deep respect for the sea.”

I am confident that the two months of races starting from August 22nd will showcase some of the most notable America’s Cup races to date.”
This partnership inaugurates a series of activations and events in Barcelona, Spain, including the Official Race Village. This will feature a dedicated area for Explora Journeys where guests can experience the Ocean State of Mind. Moreover, the Explora Journeys logo will feature during the broadcast of the races.
