Dana is charged with five counts of possession of images depicting sexual performance by a child, while Karnawan is charged with four similar counts.

Arrest documents state that a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer, while performing standard cabin inspections, discovered videos believed to be child abuse material on individual’s mobile phones.

The Miami-Dade Police took charge of the investigation and subsequently detained two males.

The documents did not disclose the cruise line or the ship the individuals were employed by.

The individuals were detained and faced a court hearing, during which Judge Mindy Glazer of Miami-Dade set their bail at $2,500 per charge.

But Dana and Karnawan, originally from Indonesia, were held in detention on an immigration hold, according to records.
