Carnival Corporation Merges Holland America and Seabourn Sales Teams Under New Leadership
The world’s largest cruise shipowner Carnival Corporation has announced the consolidation of the sales teams for its brands, HAL/Holland America Line and Seabourn, into a unified group under a single leadership structure for the North American and Australian regions.
Rob Coleman, who has been promoted to senior vice president of North America and Australia sales, will lead the combined team. Coleman will continue to report to Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer for Holland America Line.
Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn, noted that the integration of the two sales teams will allow the brands to optimize and align their industry-leading reporting, analytics, and commercial trade programs.
Coleman’s recent role was vice president of North America sales for Holland America Line, and his career with the company began in 1999 as an inside sales representative. He has since advanced through various positions of increasing responsibility.
In the new structure, Tara Schreiner has been promoted to vice president of national and strategic partnerships for both Holland America Line and Seabourn.
Meanwhile, Steve Smotrys, Seabourn’s vice president of sales and trade relations, will be departing the company in September.
