Norwegian Jade Marks Its Arrival in Boston for the Autumn Season

The Norwegian Jade recently docked in Boston, initiating a series of autumn cruises throughout the U.S. Northeast and Canada.

This season, lasting until the end of October, includes several roundtrip cruises, visiting locations like Corner Brook, Charlottetown, and Portland.

Since departing its new homeport in Massachusetts on August 29, the Norwegian Jade is currently operating a seven-night cruise to this area.

The cruise schedule includes two sea days and stops in Halifax, Charlottetown, Sydney, and Corner Brook.

The autumn schedule is active through mid-October, after which the Norwegian Jade will head to Miami to begin a series of shorter Caribbean and Bahamas cruises.

For the 2024-25 winter season, the ship plans to offer a range of cruises lasting from three to 14 nights in the Caribbean, alongside some special open-jaw trips through the Panama Canal.

Prior to moving to Boston, this vessel, built in 2006, was assigned to Caribbean cruises departing from Port Canaveral.

Similarly, the Norwegian Gem, after its summer routes in the U.S. Northeast and Bermuda, launched an autumn series in Canada and New England.

Operating between Boston and Quebec City, this ship offers various itineraries in the region until late October.

Destinations on these seven-night cruises include Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Saguenay, Portland, and Charlottetown.

Another Norwegian Cruise Line ship, the Norwegian Breakaway, also started its seasonal offerings in the U.S. Northeast recently.

Arriving in Manhattan on August 25, this ship, which can host 4,100 guests, is now providing week-long cruises to Bermuda, Canada, and New England.

Two other ships from Norwegian Cruise Line are active in the region in the coming weeks: the Norwegian Sky and the Norwegian Joy.

The former is conducting open-jaw cruises to Canada and New England, while the latter presents five- to eight-night journeys including visits to Bermuda.
