Seabourn Introduces “Connoisseur Collection”: Elevating F&B Experiences on the High Seas
Seabourn has launched its “Connoisseur Collection” offering a range of exceptional food and wine experiences on board, set to take place on most cruises and expeditions between 2025-26. These include premium whiskey and wine tastings and special dinners under the stars, where meals are paired with top-notch wines.
Guests can participate in two different whiskey tasting sessions, which are overseen by the onboard bar manager. These tastings feature meticulous selections from Scotland, Japan, and the United States, including a specific Macallan tasting. During these sessions, the bar manager will delve into the rich history and distinct flavors of each whiskey. Complementary palate cleansers like breadsticks and cheeses will also be provided.
In what is described as a global wine tasting event, participants will have the opportunity to taste 10 select reserve wines from five different countries, each representing unique varietals. A skilled sommelier will assist guests in exploring the subtleties of each wine.
Moreover, the “sommelier lunch” consists of a five-course meal where each dish is accompanied by carefully selected reserve wines.
Additionally, on certain voyages, guests have the chance to indulge in an open-air dining experience, featuring a dinner complemented with fine champagnes and wines under the starlit sky.
The special experiences within the “Connoisseur Collection” are offered for an additional charge and are available for booking on specific days during the cruise.
