With the upcoming Disney Adventure ship set to launch from Singapore in 2025, Disney Cruise Line is embarking on a new chapter in its journey. The Disney Adventure will be the largest vessel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and marks the first time a ship will homeport in Asia.

Starting in 2025, the 208,000-gross-ton cruise ship will operate for a minimum of five years from Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, offering three- and four-night cruises that feature exclusively days at sea.

The approach of having only sea days transforms the Disney Adventure into both a cruise experience and a destination itself, prompting Disney Cruise Line to explore innovative ways to create a magical family vacation centered entirely around onboard activities.

The ship’s impressive size enabled Disney Imagineers to expand their creativity, crafting new experiences and magnificent features that had never been showcased on a Disney cruise ship before.

Onboard the Disney Adventure, seven distinct themed areas will provide immersive experiences that celebrate beloved worlds from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. These themed zones are Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place.

Disney Imagination Garden will serve as the vibrant heart of the ship—a whimsical garden and gathering space nestled beneath Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural castle at sea. This enchanting storybook castle will rise three decks high, situated above a decorative waterfall and courtyard.

The Disney Imagination Garden will feature two quick-service dining establishments: Mowgli’s Eatery and Gramma Tala’s Kitchen. Mowgli’s Eatery, inspired by “The Jungle Book,” will offer Indian cuisine, while Gramma Tala’s Kitchen will present island-inspired dishes that celebrate flavors from the Pacific and Asia, drawing influence from “Moana.”

Additionally, Disney Cruise Line has taken cues from “Moana” and the Pacific Islands to design Wayfinder Bay, the poolside retreat on the Disney Adventure.

Additional information is forthcoming regarding the enchanting onboard experiences that will greet cruisers aboard Disney Cruise Line’s largest ship to date. The anticipated passenger capacity for the Disney Adventure is around 6,700, along with approximately 2,500 crew members.

Currently being constructed at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, managed by Meyer Werft, the Disney Adventure will become the seventh ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It will be succeeded by the Disney Destiny ship, which is scheduled to launch on November 20, 2025, departing from Fort Lauderdale.

With the addition of four more ships expected to be delivered between 2027 and 2031, the Disney Cruise Line fleet will expand to a total of 13 vessels.
