Carnival Cruise Line Celebrates 7 Millionth Guest Celebration in New Orleans!

Carnival Cruise Line has proudly announced that it has welcomed over seven million guests from the Port of New Orleans since it began year-round operations in 1994, according to a recent press release.

This significant milestone was celebrated when the Litteral family from Georgia boarded the Carnival Valor on Monday, September 30, becoming the seven millionth guests to embark on a Carnival cruise from the port.

Thomas and Julie Litteral, along with their children, Zachary and Zoey, are dedicated fans of Carnival cruises. During this adventure on the Carnival Valor, their 12-year-old son Zachary also reached Diamond VIFP status, the highest loyalty tier offered by Carnival, joining his parents at this prestigious level.

The family received a warm welcome on board from Captain Antonio Modaffari, and the ship’s crew organized a special celebration to commemorate this milestone embarkation.

“Sharing this landmark embarkation in New Orleans with our loyal guests, a family that truly embraces the joy of sailing with us, makes this occasion incredibly special,” stated Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

Carnival Cruise Line operates two ships, the Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty, providing year-round service from New Orleans and transporting 400,000 guests annually from this port.
