Norwegian Luna Unveils Prima Plus Dining Venues for an Elevated Culinary Experience

The Norwegian Luna is set to introduce an array of fresh dining venues and bar experiences characteristic of the Prima Plus class, as recently announced by Norwegian Cruise Line.

As per the company’s statement, the new vessel will commence operations in April 2026, incorporating several new concepts that will first appear on the Norwegian Aqua in early 2025.

One of the returning venues on the Norwegian Luna is Sukhothai, described by the cruise line as a Thai specialty restaurant offering a diverse menu of both traditional and innovative dishes.

Additionally, the ship will feature Indulge Food Hall, an upscale food court that made its debut aboard the Norwegian Prima in 2022.

The dining area on the Norwegian Luna will combine indoor and outdoor seating, featuring ten different food stations, including the plant-focused Planterie.

This 156,300-ton ship will also present some of Norwegian’s signature dining options, such as Cagney’s Steakhouse and Le Bistro, a French specialty restaurant.

In addition, the high-end Italian venue Onda by Scarpetta, which has been rolled out to five ships since 2022, will be available onboard the Norwegian Luna.

Returning restaurant options include the Surfside Café, a casual self-service eatery, the Commodore Main Dining Room, and Nama Sushi and Sashimi.

Norwegian also states that the ship’s bar and lounge selections will include popular choices like the Whisky Bar and the Belvedere Bar.

The Metropolitan Bar will return as well, featuring the company’s Sail & Sustain cocktail and a unique menu of environmentally conscious drinks.

Moreover, the ship will host the Swirl, curated as an inviting wine bar crafted for a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

As the fourth addition to the Prima class, the Norwegian Luna is expected to set sail on April 4, 2026.

During its inaugural season, this 156,300-ton vessel will provide a series of week-long cruises to the Caribbean, departing from Miami.
