Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Commits $80,000 for Hurricane Relief Efforts

In the aftermath of Hurricanes Milton and Helene, NCLH-Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. has committed a total of $80,000 to aid recovery efforts via the American Red Cross.

This total includes an initial donation of $30,000 designated for Hurricane Helene relief, alongside a matching contribution of up to $50,000 for public donations aimed at supporting those affected by Hurricane Milton.

Hurricane Milton, classified as a Category 3 storm, inflicted substantial damage along Florida’s Gulf Coast, particularly in Tampa, Fort Myers, and Orlando, resulting in extensive flooding and power outages throughout Central Florida. This came on the heels of the earlier devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene, which impacted several Southern states. The Red Cross has played a vital role in delivering shelter, food, and crucial supplies to affected communities, with 83,000 individuals seeking refuge during Milton’s landfall.

Norwegian’s contributions highlight its dedication to aiding recovery following these impactful natural disasters.
