Norwegian Dawn to Shift from Africa to Western Caribbean Routes in 2025-26
Norwegian Dawn will be transitioning from its planned African itineraries to operate in the Western Caribbean during the 2025-26 season. This change comes after the cancellation of nearly 40 cruises across three vessels, including the Norwegian Jewel and the Norwegian Star.
The new schedule for Norwegian Dawn will be available for bookings starting November 29, 2024. While the company has not yet announced the homeport for these operations, they promise itineraries that balance intriguing island adventures with rich cultural experiences. Additionally, the ship will offer trans-Atlantic crossings before and after its winter schedule in the Caribbean.
Norwegian Cruise Line emphasized its commitment to guest satisfaction, stating that changes in itineraries can occur to better meet guest demand and enhance cruise experiences. Passengers with canceled cruises will receive a full refund to their original payment method, along with a 10% discount in Future Cruise Credit (FCC) as a gesture of goodwill for any inconvenience caused.
Norwegian reiterated its dedication to delivering exceptional cruise experiences and expressed enthusiasm about rebooking affected guests for their journey in the future.
