MSC Musica Docks in Durban, Kicking Off South Africa’s 2024-2025 Cruise Season
MSC Musica has made its arrival in Durban, marking the launch of South Africa’s 2024-2025 cruise season. The ship will offer a variety of itineraries, featuring trips to stunning destinations such as Portuguese Island and Pomene off the coast of Mozambique, as well as longer cruises to Mauritius, Madagascar, and Reunion. These locations promise breathtaking scenery and rich cultural experiences for travelers.
Ross Volk, Managing Director of MSC Cruises South Africa, emphasized that MSC Musica is well-equipped for South African guests, showcasing numerous bars, lounges, expansive deck areas, and an extensive selection of entertainment tailored to various tastes.
An exciting addition for this season is the MSC Prive Lounge at the Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal in Durban. This premium lounge is intended to enhance the embarkation process, providing services like a dedicated baggage drop-off area, priority security screening, expedited immigration procedures, and access to light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages.
Access to the Prive Lounge comes with an additional fee of R350 (approximately US$19) per adult for cruises departing from Durban, and reservations can be arranged through MSC Cruises’ call center.
With the introduction of MSC Musica and the exclusive Prive Lounge, MSC Cruises aims to offer an unforgettable cruising experience to South African travelers this season.
