Norwegian Cruise Line Unveils 35 Additional Cancellations for 2025-26 Season

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of 35 additional cruises for the 2025-26 season, affecting four of its ships: the Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Encore, and Norwegian Joy.

The cancellations include nine scheduled sailings on the Norwegian Bliss to the Panama Canal, West Coast, and Caribbean, running from November 30, 2025, to March 3, 2026. The Norwegian Breakaway will see the cancellation of ten cruises, including all sailings from January 6 to February 6, 2026, which were intended for three- and four-night trips to the Bahamas.

All planned cruises on the Norwegian Encore between November 30, 2025, and January 16, 2026, have also been scrapped. The Norwegian Encore was expected to operate itineraries from Miami and Los Angeles to the Panama Canal, West Coast, and Caribbean. Additionally, nine cruises on the Norwegian Joy departing from November 29, 2025, to April 11, 2026, have been cancelled, impacting voyages from Port Canaveral to destinations in the Caribbean such as Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, and Tortola.

Passengers affected by these cancellations will begin receiving notification letters on December 9, 2024. This announcement follows a previous round of cancellations in late November, which saw over 50 other cruises scrapped across different vessels due to fleet redeployment. Those impacted will receive full refunds and a 10 percent Future Cruise Credit.

New deployment plans for the affected ships are expected to be released soon.
