PromoAção Announces Exciting Plans for 13 Theme Cruises in Brazil for 2024-25

PromoAção Eventos has announced its plans to operate 13 themed cruises in Brazil during the 2024-25 season, having recently chartered the MSC Seaview for an extensive period of over 40 days. These cruises will offer a variety of music concerts and themed activities, with the season having officially launched in early November.

Bruno Ribeiro, the Managing Partner of PromoAção, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming cruise season, stating that it is always a highly anticipated time for the team. The company identifies itself as a promoter of music festivals at sea, and will feature numerous bands and artists on board throughout the season.

In preparation for the concerts, a significant temporary stage was constructed on the Seaview’s pool deck. The setup involved two large cranes and took an entire day to assemble at the Port of Santos. This custom-designed stage, complete with a backstage area, VIP boxes, and state-of-the-art lighting and special effects, will remain operational until late January.

Ribeiro highlighted the extensive planning that has gone into ensuring the best experiences for both artists and passengers, while also emphasizing the importance of sustainability and growth in the Brazilian cruise sector. The themed sailings will encompass a variety of music genres, including Popular Brazilian Music (MPB), Rock n’ Roll, and Sertanejo.

A special New Year’s Cruise is also part of the lineup, scheduled to make a stop in Rio de Janeiro on December 31, coinciding with the city’s famous firework display. Looking ahead, PromoAção aims to enhance its offerings for future cruise seasons by featuring more prominent artists and expanding its international cruise operations.
