Century Cruises has appointed Steven Kona Simao as the new Vice President of Sales for Century USA. With certifications as a Travel Counselor (CTC) and an Incentive Specialist (CIS), Simao brings a wealth of experience from various cruise brands where he has developed sales strategies aimed at enhancing market engagement and boosting sales performance in North America and beyond.

Prior to this role, Simao served as VP of Sales at Variety Cruises, where he successfully heightened brand awareness and forged valuable partnerships with travel agencies. His prior experience also includes a position as VP of Sales for Windstar Cruises, where he introduced the "Star Promise" program, which significantly contributed to agency sales growth.

David Fredericks, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at Century Cruises, emphasized that Simao’s addition to the team underscores their commitment to the travel agent community. He hinted at more announcements to come in the near future.

In earlier roles, Simao was the Director of International Sales for both Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruise Line, where he played a crucial role in expanding their global reach and developing strategic sourcing plans in emerging markets.
