TUI River Cruises Unveils Exciting European Flavors for Summer 2025 Menus

TUI River Cruises, part of TUI UK, is set to elevate its culinary experience across its European fleet with new menu items for the summer of 2025. This enhancement stems from the “Culinary Voyages” competition, where chefs and bar staff created recipes inspired by the regions visited during their itineraries.

All vessels operate on a Full Board Plus basis, providing daily menus made from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients that reflect the culinary traditions of the prominent ports. Guests can enjoy flexible dining options without fixed meal times, allowing for relaxed lunches and dinners paired with live music.

Three exciting dishes will debut in 2025:

• Zamburinas alla Passau: A German-inspired dish created by Executive Chef Jerry Rodriguez aboard TUI Skyla. This scallop recipe incorporates white wine, celery root, red radish, asparagus, and nutmeg, inspired by Rodriguez’s experiences at local restaurants in Passau, Germany.

• Sisi’s Secret Cocktail: A nod to the elegance of Vienna and Empress Elisabeth of Austria, this cocktail was crafted by Mixologist Hannah Michael Nabil Attia. Blending gin, passion fruit, and lime, it reflects the history of Vienna and the Danube itineraries.

• Kaissechmarrn Dessert: A modern take on a classic Austrian dish by Chef de Patisserie Ramzi Morjme from TUI Maya. This dessert combines traditional ingredients like flour, eggs, and butter with plum compote, rum, and lemon for a contemporary twist celebrating Vienna’s culinary roots.

These new menu items will be available to guests on voyages like the Danube Treasures cruise, which departs on May 5, 2025, from TUI Skyla, starting at GBP 1,680 per person for a shared Deck 1 Superior cabin. This price includes flights from London Gatwick to Budapest, Full Board Plus dining, tips, and transfers.
