Norwegian Cruise Line Drops Corfu Island from Norwegian Epic’s 2025 Mediterranean Itinerary

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced that its ship, Norwegian Epic, will skip Corfu Island for the second year in a row during the 2025 Mediterranean season. This change impacts 17 scheduled sailings between May 14 and October 21, 2025, as part of a broader itinerary revision.

Instead of visiting Corfu’s Port Kerkyra, Norwegian Epic will now dock at other Greek ports, including Katakolon-Olympia and Argostoli-Kefalonia, the largest Ionian Island. Itineraries have also been adjusted for popular islands such as Mykonos and Santorini. The call at Mykonos has been rescheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to a later time of 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Similarly, the Santorini stop has moved to an earlier slot of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These changes are intended to offer passengers varied experiences.

NCL has communicated these changes through official notices and assured guests that adjustments were made to enhance their cruise experience. All pre-booked excursions for Corfu have been canceled and refunds will be processed, while updates have been applied to other excursions where necessary. Guests with independent arrangements should contact their service providers.

The updated Mediterranean itineraries for Norwegian Epic feature a 10-night roundtrip from Civitavecchia-Rome, which will now include stops at Santorini, Piraeus-Athens, Mykonos, Katakolon, Malta, Messina Sicily, and either Naples or Livorno. From August 2025, visits to Mykonos, Katakolon, and Naples will be replaced with stops in Argostoli and Cannes, France. Additionally, a new 9-night voyage will substitute Athens for Heraklion in Crete.
