Embark on an Epic Adventure: Cruise Line Announces Its Longest Voyage Yet – A 6-Month Journey!
Azamara has announced its longest-ever world cruise, which is set to embark in 2027. This remarkable 188-night voyage will take travelers to 103 destinations across five continents and 37 countries, making it one of the cruise industry’s longest offerings.
The cruise line plans to maximize the experience by including 50 late-night port calls and 15 overnight stays, allowing passengers to immerse themselves in the destinations they visit. The journey will take place aboard the 702-passenger Azamara Quest, which is designed to navigate both popular cruise ports and smaller waterways that larger ships cannot access. Notable ports of call will include Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand, Thailand, Alaska, and Sweden, with the ship anticipated to transit Germany’s Kiel Canal and dock right in the heart of Shanghai.
The cruise will kick off on January 5, 2027, from San Francisco, followed by visits to exotic locales like Hawaii and French Polynesia. Travelers will continue to journey through the South Pacific, exploring American Samoa and Tonga, before moving on to the pristine shores of Fiji and New Zealand. Significant stops in Australia, including cities like Melbourne and Sydney, are also planned throughout January and February.
Spring will see guests venturing through Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and South Korea, perfectly timed for cherry blossom viewing. The ship will navigate Alaska’s Inside Passage in May, making stops at Sitka, Juneau, and Ketchikan, before heading to Vancouver and Victoria in Canada, and then continuing to Mexico and Costa Rica.
After transiting through the Panama Canal, the Quest will sail up the East Coast of North America in June, cross the Atlantic to visit Ireland and France, and conclude in Copenhagen on July 12, 2027.
For those unable to commit to the full 188 days, Azamara is offering 12 shorter segments for booking. The world cruise is now available, with prices starting at $85,559 per person for an inside cabin. Travelers who opt for the complete itinerary will enjoy perk packages that include substantial onboard credits, complimentary upgrades, and pre-cruise amenities that collectively are valued over $40,000 per cabin.
