UnCruise Adventures has announced the return of its ship, the Wilderness Adventurer, slated to restart its Glacier Bay expeditions in 2025. This decision comes as a response to the growing demand for the popular Glacier Bay Adventure itinerary, which includes two full days at Glacier Bay.
The Wilderness Adventurer has recently undergone updates under the guidance of Captain Dan Blanchard, the company’s CEO and Founder. With robust bookings and many departures already sold out for the 2025 season, UnCruise has chosen to reintroduce this vessel to provide additional capacity and maintain their reputation for immersive small-ship cruising in Alaska.
Accommodating up to 60 guests with a nearly 2:1 guest-to-crew ratio, the 160-ft Wilderness Adventurer is designed to offer personalized service. The USA-flagged vessel features upgrades aimed at enhancing the onboard experience while meeting stringent safety and environmental standards.
