MSC Cruises Teams Up with Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom for Star-Studded Big Game Ad Campaign

MSC Cruises has launched its first Big Game advertisement featuring Hollywood stars Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom. This 60-second spot aims to highlight the unique blend of European luxury and American comfort that MSC is known for, while also introducing the upcoming flagship, MSC World America.

This campaign is pivotal for MSC as it marks the cruise line’s entry into national advertising to bolster its expansion in the North American market. Created by the award-winning agency Highdive, the ad showcases exclusive features aboard MSC World America, including the MSC Yacht Club, which is a luxury area within the ship.

In a teaser from the commercial, Barrymore and Bloom are depicted in the MSC Yacht Club’s Top Sail Lounge. They share a lighthearted moment as Barrymore sings “Holiday,” the musical highlight of the advertisement.

As MSC World America prepares for its debut as the largest ship in the MSC North American fleet, it is set to begin operations from PortMiami on April 12, 2025. The ship will offer seven-night itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, each including a stop at Ocean Cay Bahamas, a private island renowned for its stunning beaches and diverse activities.

Combining celebrity influence with a cutting-edge ship, MSC aims to cement its presence in the competitive landscape of the North American cruise industry.
