Celebrity Cruises Unveils “Dream Makers” Initiative to Revolutionize New Ship Design with Guest-Centered Focus

Celebrity Cruises has introduced an innovative program called "Dream Makers," allowing passengers to contribute directly to the design and features of their latest ship, the Celebrity Xcel. This new vessel is set to join the EDGE Series and is scheduled to launch in November, operating from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The "Dream Makers" initiative enables guests to participate in polls and attend events where they can vote on various aspects of the ship, including interior design, dining options, entertainment elements, and even table settings. Michael Scheiner, Chief Marketing and Product Officer, emphasized that this program aims to deepen the connection between the cruise line and its travelers by integrating their preferences into the ship’s design.

The initiative will commence on February 8th and is open to participants from the USA, Canada (excluding Quebec), the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, provided they are 21 years or older. This engagement is free and allows guests to make their mark on what is expected to be an exciting addition to Celebrity’s fleet, designed with input from future travelers themselves.
