Oceania Cruises Introduces Jacques Restaurant on the New Allura Ship

Oceania Cruises has announced the addition of its renowned French restaurant, Jacques, on its upcoming ship, Allura, set to launch in mid-July 2025. Named after the celebrated chef Jacques Pepin, Jacques will share his acclaimed culinary approach, which has also been featured on Oceania’s Marina and Riviera ships.

Jacques will take the place of the Ember restaurant on Allura, and it will also be included on Oceania’s sister ship, Vista, scheduled to start operations in October 2025. Both ships will offer a variety of dining options for over 1,200 guests, including Polo Grill, Toscana, and Red Ginger.

Frank A. Del Rio, Oceania’s President, emphasized Jacques’ importance in their culinary vision, referring to it as “the heart” of their gastronomic offerings. The restaurant’s executive culinary directors, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, will work alongside Chef Pepin to create new dishes while enhancing beloved classic favorites.

The menu will feature signature dishes such as duck with Grand Marnier-infused orange sauce and veal medallions with morel sauce. Guests can also enjoy traditional French desserts like Crepes Suzette and profiteroles, with select dishes served tableside, including beef tartare, all presented with new crockery and glassware to elevate the dining experience.

Del Rio noted that the introduction of Jacques on Allura and Vista honors Oceania’s culinary legacy while demonstrating a commitment to excellence in dining for the future.
