MSC Cruises Launches 2026-2027 Mediterranean Voyages for MSC World Asia Ship
MSC Cruises has announced the opening of bookings for the inaugural voyages of its latest ship, MSC World Asia, which belongs to the WORLD-Class fleet. The ship is set to commence operations on December 11, 2026. During the winter 2026-2027 season, it will offer week-long itineraries across the Western Mediterranean.
The planned ports of call include notable destinations such as Barcelona in Spain, Marseille in France, Genoa in Italy, Civitavecchia near Rome, Messina in Italy, and Valletta in Malta. Guests will have the option to embark at any of these ports.
MSC World Asia follows the launch of MSC World Europa and the upcoming MSC World America, which is scheduled for debut in April 2025, focusing on the Caribbean routes from Miami, Florida. The new vessel’s design features elements inspired by Asian culture and landscapes while maintaining the characteristic architectural traits of MSC’s World Class ships, such as a pronounced plumb bow and a unique Y-shaped rear that opens onto an outdoor promenade.
To reward early bookings, MSC Voyager’s Club members who reserve by February 13, 2025, will earn 1,000 bonus points and €50 onboard credit per person. Other loyalty benefits include a 5%+5% discount, additional member points, and extra onboard credit for Silver status members when booking more than a year ahead. Further details and terms can be found on the MSC Cruises website.
