Seabourn Quest Set to Launch Its Inaugural Alaska Season in 2025

Seattle-based luxury cruise line Seabourn has announced that the Seabourn Quest will embark on its inaugural Alaska season from May to September 2025. This season will feature 18 seven-day itineraries that connect Vancouver, British Columbia, and Juneau, Alaska.

The 2025 Alaska season will include "Ventures by Seabourn," which offers a variety of optional expedition-style excursions such as hiking, kayaking, and Zodiac cruises. Guests can enjoy kayaking at Hubbard Glacier, hike the Rainbow Trail to Rainbow Falls, as well as explore Tracy Arm towards Sawyer Glacier and Dawes Glacier via Endicott Arm.

Seabourn President Mark Tamis highlighted Alaska’s natural beauty and cultural richness, emphasizing that the 2025 season aims to deliver a unique and immersive experience aligned with Seabourn’s luxury expedition ethos. He noted that the Ventures program allows guests to engage more intimately with the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of the region.

Additionally, long-time cruise director Jan Stearman, who has been with Seabourn since 1995, will retire after nearly three decades with the company. Her final cruise will be on the Seabourn Quest’s 7-day ‘Alaska Fjords & Canadian Inside Passage‘ sailing on August 1, 2025.

To enhance guests’ experiences, Seabourn has introduced a pre-cruise package that includes an overnight stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, breakfast, transfers, and a flight from Seattle to Juneau.

Furthermore, select voyages on the Seabourn Quest will be featured in Seabourn’s ‘The Sail of the Year Event’, providing guests with savings of up to 15% and a US$1,000 shipboard credit per suite for bookings made by February 18, 2025.
