Uniworld Introduces Enchanting ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ River Cruise Itinerary for 2025

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced its new ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ itinerary for the 2025 season. This enchanting 7-night journey begins in Paris aboard the SS Joie de Vivre, where guests will cruise the picturesque Seine River, exploring the stunning French countryside during the festive season.

The adventure kicks off with an exclusive tour of the Palace of Versailles, including areas not typically opened to the public. Guests will also enjoy a walking tour of Rouen, visit Monet’s studio, and experience a private choral performance at Rouen Cathedral. The itinerary includes a visit to a Normandy cider farm and a unique ‘MAKE TRAVEL MATTER’ experience that supports a local family preserving traditional broom weaving techniques. Special events will be held at Chateau de Bizy and Chateau le Vaux le Vicomte, which inspired the design of Versailles.

In addition to exploring Christmas markets in Paris and the surrounding countryside, which showcase local produce and specialties, the journey will feature the 128-passenger luxury riverboat SS Joie de Vivre, designed to embody French culture and 20th-century Parisian aesthetics. Onboard amenities include a spa, wellness center, bar and entertainment area, a Parisian-style sidewalk café, and a show kitchen for cooking classes. The ship will be decorated festively, offering a seasonal menu and beverages to elevate the holiday ambiance.

The cruise package includes all meals, drinks, and excursions, except for Masterpiece Collection options. The ‘Magical Parisian Holiday’ itinerary has four departures planned for both 2025 and 2026, commencing in November to coincide with the holiday festivities.
