Celebrity Cruises has introduced ‘The Bazaar,’ a unique multi-level space set to debut on the upcoming Celebrity Xcel ship. This innovative venue spans three stories and aims to blend on-board experiences with local shore cultures. Each day, The Bazaar will transform, featuring markets with artisan products, destination-themed festivals, culinary experiences inspired by local cuisines, and specialized entertainment, thereby connecting guests with the cultures of ports of call.

To kick off, The Bazaar will celebrate four Caribbean-themed festivals, tailored to the ship’s itineraries. When the Celebrity Xcel shifts to European routes in 2026, the focus will pivot to Mediterranean festivals and culinary markets.

On sea days, The Bazaar’s Market will allow local artisans to showcase their craftsmanship and lead interactive workshops. Activities will be designed around the festival themes and might include rum and chocolate pairings, hot sauce tastings, and basket weaving. Unique souvenirs, such as Caribbean masks, Mexican leather hats, and embroidered textiles will also be available for purchase.

The maiden season of Celebrity Xcel will operate from Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale (Florida USA), featuring 7-night Caribbean itineraries.
