Costa Cruises Launches Bookings for 2027 World Cruise Aboard the Deliziosa Ship
Costa Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 World Cruise, featuring a remarkable 139-day itinerary aboard the Costa Deliziosa. This voyage, which departs from Savona, Italy, on November 25, 2026, will conclude on April 12, 2027, and will visit five continents, 29 countries, and 47 destinations.
Since the 1970s, Costa has been a trailblazer in offering extended global voyages, and this year’s cruise includes newly added ports such as Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, along with significant stops on the East and West Coasts of the USA, the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and various regions in Southeast Asia and Africa.
For travelers seeking a shorter experience, a 100-day segment starting from San Francisco is also available. This more concise cruise will journey through Oceania, Asia, and Africa back to Savona. Throughout the full journey, the Costa Deliziosa will travel westward, reminiscent of traditional maritime exploration, with extended stays and multi-day excursions to immerse guests in local cultures and attractions.
In North America, the itinerary includes stops in New York, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles, where guests can partake in a New Year’s Eve celebration and enjoy various excursions like helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.
The adventure continues as the cruise crosses the Pacific, stopping at the Hawaiian Islands (Maui and Oahu) and then Australia (Cairns and Sydney), proceeding to New Caledonia and Japan. Notably, a 5-day overland tour in Japan allows guests to explore cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Hakone, and Mount Fuji. The itinerary also includes visits to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam.
As the Costa Deliziosa crosses the Indian Ocean, it will visit the Maldives before making its way to South Africa, where passengers can experience a safari in Port Elizabeth. The cruise will then proceed along Africa’s western coast back to the Mediterranean, completing the circumnavigation.
Reservations for the 2027 World Cruise are now available through travel agencies and Costa Cruises’ official website. Additionally, limited cabins are still open for the 2026 edition, which departs from Trieste on November 21, 2025.
