Giuliana Rizzo Appointed as Godmother of Mein Schiff Relax: A New Era in Luxury Cruising
TUI Cruises has announced that Giuliana Rizzo will be the Godmother of the upcoming ship, Mein Schiff Relax. Rizzo, who has held the position of Spa & Sport Manager with TUI Cruises since 2019, will oversee the christening ceremony scheduled for April 9, 2025, in Malaga, Spain. The event will feature a live performance from Robbie Williams.
Rizzo’s journey with TUI began in 2015 when she started as a beautician on Mein Schiff 3. In her remarks about receiving this honor, she highlighted the significance of well-being and relaxation in her work, resonating with the ethos of the Mein Schiff fleet. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to name this latest addition to the fleet.
Mein Schiff Relax will be the first ship in TUI’s new "InTUItion" class, and its maiden voyage will start from Palma de Mallorca on March 2nd, leading up to the christening event. Alongside the ceremony, passengers on the other ships, Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7, docked in port, will have the chance to partake in the festivities.
