Costa Cruises Starts Bookings for the Spectacular 2027 World Cruise Aboard the Deliziosa

Costa Cruises has announced the opening of reservations for its 2027 World Cruise, which will be hosted on the Costa Deliziosa ship. This grand journey is set to span 139 days, departing from Savona, Italy, on November 25, 2026, and concluding on April 12, 2027. The cruise will tour five continents, with stops in 29 countries and 47 destinations.

Costa Cruises has a storied history of offering extensive world voyages since the 1970s and this latest itinerary promises to be unique, featuring new destinations such as Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas—an exclusive private island—and key ports across both U.S. coasts, as well as in the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and multiple locations throughout Southeast Asia and Africa.

For those looking for a shorter experience, guests can choose a segment of the cruise lasting 100 days, departing from San Francisco, CA. This route will explore Oceania, Asia, and Africa, ending back in Savona while maintaining a westward route reminiscent of classic maritime adventures. The itinerary includes extended stays and multi-day excursions that provide guests with in-depth experiences in select ports.

The North American leg of the journey highlights extended calls at major cities such as New York, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles, allowing guests to ring in the New Year on the ship. Optional excursions will include helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.

As the voyage progresses across the Pacific, it will visit the Hawaiian Islands (Maui and Oahu) and Australia (Cairns and Sydney), before continuing on to New Caledonia and Japan. A five-day Overland Tour in Japan offers guests the chance to visit cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki as well as iconic sites including Hakone and Mount Fuji. Other stops will be in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Crossing the Indian Ocean, the Costa Deliziosa will make a stop in the Maldives before heading to South Africa, where guests can experience an extraordinary safari in Port Elizabeth. The cruise will then follow Africa’s western coastline back to the Mediterranean, completing the circumnavigation.

Reservations for this World Cruise are now available through travel agents and the official Costa Cruises website, with limited cabin availability remaining for the 2026 edition scheduled to depart from Trieste on November 21, 2025.
