MSC Unveils the World’s Largest Cruise Terminal at PortMiami

MSC Cruises has officially inaugurated the MSC Miami Cruise Terminal at PortMiami, Florida, on February 8, 2025. This significant development enhances the maritime infrastructure of the region. The terminal’s first vessel, MSC Seascape, marked the occasion, and it is designed to hold up to three ships at once, accommodating as many as 36,000 guests daily.

The MSC Miami Cruise Terminal is the result of a collaboration between MSC, PortMiami, and Miami-Dade County. Architectural firm Arquitectonica designed the facility, which was constructed by Fincantieri Infrastructure.

In 2025, MSC will homeport four ships at the new terminal: Seascape, MSC Divina, MSC Seaside, and the upcoming MSC World America, which is set to debut in April. Additionally, the luxury brand Explora Journeys, under MSC, will also use the terminal for its sailings.

Construction of the terminal began in March 2022, marking a major milestone in increasing PortMiami’s ability to serve the cruise industry globally.
