Resorts World Cruises Revives Iconic Star and Dream Cruises Brands: A New Era in Luxury Cruising

Resorts World Cruises has announced its decision to revive the Star Cruises and Dream Cruises brands, which are notable names in the Asian cruise market. This reinstatement is slated for completion in the next three months, organizing the company’s fleet under these two distinct brands.

Since launching in June 2022, Resorts World Cruises has successfully transported around 2 million passengers. Under the new structure, Star Cruises will focus on operating mid-sized vessels and providing short, port-intensive itineraries, while Dream Cruises will emphasize the luxury market with larger ships offering premium experiences.

As part of the rebranding, the Resorts World One will be renamed "Star Navigator" and will join the Star Cruises fleet alongside the existing Star Voyager. The Star Navigator is set to begin sailing on March 7, 2025, embarking on 4-night roundtrips from Singapore to Krabi and Penang, before transitioning to Taiwan for an 8-month period starting March 28. During this time, it will conduct itineraries linking Taiwan with Japan and Korea.

The Star Voyager, launching on March 26, 2025, will offer seasonal voyages from various homeports, including Singapore, Jakarta, Malacca, Bangkok, and Saigon.

Dream Cruises plans to maintain its luxury focus, with the Genting Dream remaining homeported in Singapore throughout the year and navigating routes to Malaysia and Thailand.

This restructuring strategy aims to clarify the offerings of each brand within the cruise market, presenting Star Cruises as a vibrant, accessible option for travelers eager for regional exploration, while Dream Cruises will continue catering to guests seeking an upscale, luxury cruise experience.
