Carnival Cruise Line Updates Itineraries for Four Ships: New Routes for 2025-2027

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has announced itinerary changes for four ships—Venezia, Sunrise, Horizon, and Mardi Gras—that will affect 12 voyages scheduled from 2025 to 2027. The modifications include revised departure times and altered port sequencing, but notably, there are no removals of major ports.

For the Carnival Mardi Gras, the 9-night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing from Port Canaveral on October 30, 2025, will keep its original ports, including St. Thomas, St. Maarten, San Juan, Amber Cove, and Celebration Key. However, the departure will shift from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. after a 14-night repositioning voyage from Barcelona, Spain, which allows for a buffer period to accommodate customs clearance.

The Carnival Venezia will see changes in three itineraries for 2025 and one in 2026. Departures on May 11, 2025, and May 17, 2026, from Port Canaveral will now commence at 4:30 p.m. instead of 4:00 p.m. The May 2025 sailing will also have modified port hours in Grand Turk. Additionally, the 12-night Southern Caribbean voyages departing from Manhattan on October 6th and 18th, 2025, will adjust their departure times to 5:00 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m., visiting ports such as St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, and more.

For the Carnival Sunrise, six sailings from Miami in 2026 and 2027 will see Nassau’s port call change to alternate days, with a flipped port order for the September 14, 2026, itinerary visiting Nassau and Half Moon Cay in reversed sequence.

The Carnival Horizon’s voyage on November 16, 2025, will preserve all scheduled ports but will swap the order of visiting Cozumel and Ocho Rios, adjusting docking times accordingly.

Passengers affected by these changes have been informed via email or through their travel advisors. Carnival encourages guests to review the updated itineraries and reach out for further clarification, emphasizing that these adjustments are made for operational efficiencies while maintaining a commitment to itinerary integrity.
