National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions Announces Aqua Blu Charter for 2026 Indonesia Dive Voyages

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has announced a partnership with Aqua Expeditions to charter the Aqua Blu for two dive-themed voyages in Indonesia scheduled for the fall of 2026. The Aqua Blu is a small vessel accommodating 28 guests, designed for exploration with amenities such as indoor and outdoor dining, a wellness space, a hot tub, and a spa offering Balinese treatments and aromatherapy. It will also be equipped with snorkeling and kayaking gear, along with support facilities for ten certified divers.

The first itinerary, titled "Indonesia’s Coral Gardens and Komodo Dragons," is a 15-day voyage set for October. This journey will navigate through the Coral Triangle, including a visit to Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragon in its natural environment, and opportunities for diving and snorkeling at Taka Bonerate National Park. Guests will also engage in cultural interactions and kayak through mangrove forests.

In November, the second itinerary, "Indonesia’s Spice Islands and Raja Ampat," will offer another 15-day expedition that focuses on cultural and marine exploration. Participants will have the chance to snorkel and dive in Raja Ampat, which is famous for its rich coral reefs, as well as visit nutmeg plantations, volcanic islands, and remote waterfalls while interacting with local villages.
