HAL-Holland America Line Unveils Exciting Caribbean Itineraries for Winter 2026-2027

HAL-Holland America Line has released its itineraries for the winter season of 2026-2027, focusing on the Caribbean. The upcoming sailings will feature more voyages lasting nine days or longer and will nearly all include a visit to Half Moon Cay, which is set to undergo significant redevelopment.

The itineraries will cover routes ranging from 7 to 14 days across the eastern and western Caribbean, along with a 10-day trip encompassing the Greater Antilles, Mexico, and Belize.

As part of the redevelopment, Carnival Corporation, the parent company of HAL, is rebranding the private island as RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. This involves constructing a new pier and enhancing the northern section of the island for Carnival Cruise Line guests, while the southern part will be developed specifically for HAL passengers.

The HAL-designated area will feature a new beach club that provides private beach access and upgraded amenities, including better seating options and improved food and beverage services. Guests will continue to access the island via tender operations.

Improvements for HAL visitors will include renovated cabanas, villas, and canopy loungers, as well as new retail outlets and enhanced dining options. The food court is set to be renovated, and a new Lobster Shack will be introduced alongside food trucks featuring local cuisine.

Recreational enhancements will also be added, such as plans for pickleball courts, mobile beverage service, and themed tricycles and beach buggies.

The initial phase of redevelopment is expected to be completed by summer 2026, with further enhancements continuing through the end of the year.
