Windstar’s Star Seeker Set to Debut with 112-Suite Configuration and Revamped Public Spaces

Windstar Cruises is excited to introduce its newest vessel, Star Seeker, set to launch its inaugural sailing season in December 2025. The formal christening will take place on January 15, 2026, after which Star Seeker will begin operations in the Caribbean. The ship will later transition to Alaska for the summer and then reposition to Japan and other Asian destinations.

Star Seeker joins Windstar’s Star Class fleet, emphasizing the company’s commitment to small-ship cruising. With a total of 112 guest suites, most of which feature private verandas or expansive ocean-facing windows, the vessel promises a luxurious experience. The design, spearheaded by project designer Jessica Payne, aims to maximize space and functionality while maintaining an elegant atmosphere.

Onboard, the public spaces are thoughtfully designed to enhance the cruising experience. One highlight is Basil + Bamboo, a new specialty dining venue that broadens culinary choices for passengers. The Yacht Club Café, complete with panoramic windows and a central skylight, serves casual fare throughout the day, while the Yacht Club Café Bar offers a selection of hot and cold beverages.

The Main Lounge is another significant feature, featuring versatile seating arrangements within a contemporary setting, ideal for both daytime activities and evening events. A green and neutral color palette throughout promotes a calming, cohesive visual experience.

Dining will be elevated at the Amphora Restaurant, which is designed to maximize stunning ocean views with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The space includes booth and traditional table seating, catering to various group sizes and preferences for an intimate dining experience.
