Explora Journeys Launches Mediterranean Cruises Aboard EXPLORA II from Barcelona
On April 2nd, MSC’s luxury travel brand Explora Journeys launched its Mediterranean Journeys Collection with the inaugural voyage of EXPLORA II from Barcelona, Spain. This event also marked the opening of the new MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal, which boasts expansive glass facades designed to enhance natural light and provide a luxurious atmosphere for travelers.
The Mediterranean Journeys Collection features itineraries on both EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, exploring the regions of Western and Eastern Mediterranean. Destinations include popular spots like Italy, Greece, Türkiye, France, and Spain, as well as hidden gems such as Skiathos, Portofino, St. Tropez, and Mahón, offering travelers a unique blend of cultural discovery and luxury.

Eastern Mediterranean Journeys on EXPLORA I:
- A Journey to Cypress-studded Hills and Cobalt Harbours (June 7–14, 2025): A 7-night cruise from Piraeus (Athens) to Fusina (Venice), stopping in Greece and Croatia, with ports including Corfu and Rovinj.
- An Extended Journey of Magical Greek Gifts and Turkish Treasures (June 21–July 5, 2025): A 14-night round trip from Piraeus, journeying through the Aegean and featuring stops at Mykonos and Istanbul.
