Majestic Princess Set to Shine: Royal Refurbishment for the 2025 Cruise Season

The Majestic Princess has officially resumed operations after undergoing a two-week drydock in Palermo, Italy. The cruise ship emerged with a suite of new designs and upgrades to enhance the guest experience for the upcoming 2025 Mediterranean season.

Key changes include the introduction of O’Malley’s Irish Pub on Deck 5, replacing Vines Wine Bar, which now features Irish comfort food and an array of beer and whiskey options, along with live music. Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria has taken over from Harmony Restaurant, offering artisan pastas and traditional family-inspired meats. The offering of cocktails has been revamped with Good Spirits At Sea, which provides interactive mixology experiences.

Additionally, the retail space has seen significant updates. The Shops of Princess now showcase EFFY’s gemstone jewelry collection, alongside a newly opened Victorian-style sweet shop, Confectionary, which replaces Calypso Cove.

Deck 6 has introduced Bellini’s Cocktail Bar, replacing both Good Spirits At Sea and the Princess Photo Gallery, offering a menu of Italian cocktails. Captain’s Arcade now replaces the former Churchill’s Video Arcade, appealing to gamers of all ages with a blend of classic and modern games.

On Deck 7, the Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar has taken over the space previously occupied by Ocean Terrace Bar, now offering fresh sushi, nigiri, and sashimi. The retail area has expanded its EFFY offerings, adding bespoke jewelry consultations and an exclusive lounge.

The transformation continues on Deck 16 with a dining revamp—Alfredo’s Slice is replacing Chopsticks Noodle & Dim Sum Bar, providing made-to-order Neapolitan-style pizza, while The Salty Dog Grill has succeeded the Lobster Bar & Grill, offering a range of gourmet burgers, hot dogs, and loaded fries.
