Sunsation Point: Exciting New Feature on Upcoming Carnival Cruise Line Newbuilds

The Carnival Festivale, set to launch in 2027 from Port Canaveral, will introduce an exciting new outdoor zone called Sunsation Point, designed as a vibrant family fun area on the upper three decks. This zone is expected to provide a wealth of entertainment and recreational activities. The Carnival Tropicale, making its debut in 2028, will also feature this new outdoor area.

A standout highlight on Deck 18 will be the Carnival Waterworks Ultra, the largest family-friendly water park at sea, aiming to deliver exhilarating experiences. This new attraction will take the place of BOLT, the Ultimate Seacoaster, currently featured on existing Excel ships.

Sunsation Point will boast an impressive lineup of water attractions, including six thrilling slides, with four exclusively new to Carnival, such as two family raft slides. To cater to younger visitors, the park will feature slides designed for children as small as three feet tall, alongside two separate splash pads loaded with kid-friendly slides and interactive spray toys. There will also be designated baby splash areas to ensure even the littlest guests can enjoy the fun.

Additionally, this area will include a treehouse-themed adventure trail, toddler-friendly activities, shaded seating, a multi-purpose sports court, a ropes course, a jogging track, and a new miniature golf course, providing ample ways for families to engage in outdoor activities.

As night falls, Sunsation Point will transform, illuminated with vibrant lights and enhanced with evening events. For the first time, the water park will remain open after sunset, offering extended hours and activities such as DJ performances, ensuring family fun continues well into the night.
