Emerald Cruises Expands Fleet: Introducing Two Superyachts Raiya and Xara, Plus Riverboat Lumi for 2026-2027

Emerald Cruises has unveiled plans to expand its fleet with the addition of two superyachts, the Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara, along with a new riverboat, the Emerald Lumi, all set for delivery in 2026-2027.

The Emerald Lumi will specifically cater to passengers sailing the Seine River in France, offering inaugural trips beginning in 2027 from Paris and including stops in Honfleur and Rouen.

Both superyachts are designed similarly to the recently launched Emerald Kaia and will accommodate up to 128 passengers in luxurious all-suite arrangements. The Emerald Raiya will commence its inaugural season in the Seychelles before moving to the Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean Sea for the summer of 2027, then returning to the Seychelles for winter 2027-2028. Meanwhile, the Emerald Xara will operate in the Mediterranean during the summer of 2027 and transition to the Caribbean later that year.

Emerald Cruises plans to release detailed itineraries and booking information in June. This new fleet expansion follows the upcoming launches of the Emerald Kaia and the Emerald Astra in April 2026. Additionally, the company is focusing on increasing offerings for charter and group markets, particularly emphasizing its luxury superyacht fleet, which will allow travel agents early access to planning resources for advanced arrangements.
