TUI’s Latest Marvel: The Mein Schiff Relax Christened in Malaga

On April 9, TUI Cruises celebrated the christening of their new ship, the Mein Schiff Relax, at the Port of Málaga, Spain. This event marked the introduction of TUI’s innovative InTUItion class and attracted over 12,000 attendees, including guests from the ships Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7.

The ceremony featured an open-air concert by British singer Robbie Williams, the ship’s wellness ambassador, who energized the crowd with his popular songs. Traditional festivities included the ceremonial breaking of a champagne bottle at the ship’s bow, accompanied by a stunning light and stage show, as well as special culinary experiences and performances for guests aboard all three ships.

Mein Schiff Relax stands out for its unique wellness-focused features, such as single balcony cabins designed for solo travelers and a variety of dining options, including the Asian restaurant Fugu, crafted by renowned chef Tim Raue.

During the summer of 2025, Mein Schiff Relax will offer 7- to 10-day itineraries departing from Palma de Mallorca, with stops at various destinations in Italy and Spain, as well as in France, Portugal, and Morocco. Notably, some routes will include overnight stays in Palma, allowing guests ample time to explore the vibrant capital of Mallorca.

In the 2025-2026 winter season, the ship will transition to the Canary Islands, providing 7-day cruises with embarkation options in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, or Santa Cruz, Tenerife, enabling passengers to discover the islands’ rich landscapes and cultures.
