Disney Adventure Set to Make Waves: Floats Out at Meyer Werft for Singapore Debut

On April 19, 2025, Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship, the Disney Adventure, was floated out from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Wismar, Germany, marking a key milestone in its construction. Originally intended as the Global Dream, Disney acquired the vessel in 2022, and it is set to be the largest in the Disney Cruise Line fleet at around 208,000 gross tons. The ship will accommodate approximately 6,000 guests and 2,300 crew members.

Following the float-out, the ship will undergo final outfitting and sea trials before its inaugural journey. The Disney Adventure is scheduled to begin operations from Singapore on December 15, 2025, offering cruises lasting 3 to 5 nights.

This new ship will host over 20 dining options, featuring themed restaurants and bars inspired by beloved Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters.
