Mobile, Alabama Set to Host Dual Cruise Line Dockings in March 2026

In March 2026, the Port of Mobile in Alabama will achieve a historic milestone by hosting two cruise ships from different operators at the same time, marking a first in its 20 years of operations.

The Carnival Cruise Line’s ship, Carnival Spirit, will continue its seasonal homeporting in Mobile, offering 6- to 8-day itineraries to various destinations including Celebration Key, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay. The Carnival Spirit has multiple scheduled departures throughout March 2026, including sailings on the 8th, 14th, 22nd, and 28th.

At the same time, American Cruise Lines will bring its ship, American Symphony, to Mobile for four port calls in the same month. These voyages last 8 days and offer luxury accommodations for approximately 180 passengers, with prices ranging from $4,800 to $9,000 per person.

The simultaneous docking of both an ocean-going and a river cruise vessel highlights Mobile’s growing status as a versatile cruise embarkation point.
