Transcend Cruises Reveals Names and Specs for Its First B2B Riverboats

Transcend Cruises has unveiled the names and specifications of its first two riverboats, tailored specifically for the business-to-business (B2B) group travel market. The vessels, named Transcend Connect and Transcend Evolve, are currently being constructed at Den Breejen Shipyard in the Netherlands.

These 135-meter-long riverboats are designed to accommodate up to 120 guests in spacious "oversized staterooms," which can be reconfigured into larger suites as needed. This flexibility allows group charterers to host events for groups ranging from 30 to 120 attendees.

Each ship will feature five event venues, including a two-story amphitheater and "The Studio," a 1,300-square-foot configurable space equipped with advanced audiovisual systems. This Studio is located on the lower deck, adjacent to an office area and crew cabins, providing convenience for event organizers.

In choosing the vessel names, the company sifted through more than 100 options, consulting partners and key clients from the group travel sector. Transcend Connect is set to enter service in April 2026, followed by Transcend Evolve in the second quarter of 2026.

Matthew Shollar, the Chief Visionary Officer of Transcend Cruises, emphasized that the names reflect the company’s focus on enhancing river travel experiences that foster group connection and transformational gatherings. He stated that the principles guiding the naming of these vessels will also influence future expansions of the fleet.
