Mano Cruises Launches Exciting Eastern Mediterranean 2025 Season Aboard Crown Iris Ship

Mano Cruises has officially started its 2025 season in the Eastern Mediterranean with its ship, the Crown Iris. The vessel, which has a capacity for 1,500 passengers, resumed operations on March 27, 2025, after its winter layup, departing from its homeport in Haifa, Israel.

The inaugural voyage included a 3-night itinerary to Cyprus, featuring an overnight stop in Limassol. Throughout the season, Crown Iris will offer a variety of short cruises ranging from 2 to 4 nights, allowing passengers to explore significant destinations in Cyprus and Greece. Notable ports of call include Larnaca, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Piraeus, with additional stops scheduled for Agios Nikolaos, Santorini, Thessaloniki, Patmos, Volos, and Mykonos.

Beyond the short cruises, Crown Iris is also set to embark on longer Mediterranean voyages. Following its initial series of trips, the ship departed Haifa on April 20, 2025, for a 12-night cruise across the Central Mediterranean, which includes visits to ports such as Heraklion, Chania, Valletta, Catania, Palermo, Civitavecchia, and Naples before returning to Israel in early May.

The 2025 schedule also features a new itinerary for the Black Sea, slated for late October. This 11-night cruise will visit ports in Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania, including Syros, Varna, Constanza, and Burgas, strategically offering travelers access to culturally rich but less-frequented destinations.

Crown Iris is expected to operate through late December 2025, providing diverse itineraries that showcase the Mediterranean’s stunning coastline. Originally built as the Royal Majesty for Majesty Cruise Line, the Crown Iris has undergone several upgrades, including a significant lengthening project in 1999 that added 33 meters, enhancing its stateroom capacity and public areas. The ship has sailed under multiple operators, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Louis Cruises, Celestyal Cruises, and Thomson Cruises.

With its 2025 program, Mano Cruises aims to deliver varied and comprehensive experiences across the Eastern Mediterranean aboard the extensively refurbished Crown Iris.
