Carnival Corporation Announces Unified North American Headquarters in Miami

Carnival Corporation, the world’s largest cruise ship company, is making significant moves to enhance its operations. The company has announced plans to consolidate its North American shoreside operations into a new headquarters located in Miami’s Waterford Business District. This new facility is anticipated to be completed by 2028 and will cover between 600,000 and 700,000 square feet, providing space for more than 2,000 employees.

This consolidation marks the first time that most of Carnival’s North American staff, including employees from Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Cunard, and Costa Cruises, will work under one roof. The new headquarters is designed to foster collaboration and innovation among team members while including specialized facilities for training and rehearsal.

CEO Josh Weinstein emphasized that this move aims to enhance knowledge sharing, efficiency, and career development throughout the company. Miami, having been the company’s operational hub for over 50 years, was chosen for the new headquarters due to its strategic location near key transportation hubs and a skilled local workforce.

While this headquarters will centralize operations in Miami, Carnival Corporation will continue to maintain a presence in Seattle for Holland America Line’s Alaskan operations. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to streamline operations and cultivate a cohesive corporate culture across the company’s various cruise brands.
