Carnival Corporation Announces Unified North American Headquarters in Miami
Carnival Corporation has announced plans to establish a new unified headquarters in Miami’s Waterford Business District, consolidating its North American operations. This multi-building campus, which is expected to be completed by 2028, will measure between 600,000 and 700,000 square feet and house over 2,000 employees.
This significant move will mark the first time Carnival Corp will gather most of its North American staff—including those from Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Cunard, and Costa Cruises—under one roof. The headquarters will include flexible workspaces aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation, along with an entertainment training and rehearsal facility.
Carnival Corporation’s CEO, Josh Weinstein, expressed that this consolidation is designed to improve efficiency, knowledge sharing, and career development within the company.
The choice of Miami as the location emphasizes Carnival’s long-standing ties to the region, where the company has operated for over 50 years. The Waterford Business District’s proximity to major transportation hubs and a strong local workforce align well with the needs of the cruise industry.
While most North American operations will be centralized in Miami, Carnival Corporation will keep a presence in Seattle to support Holland America Line’s Alaskan operations. This new headquarters is part of a broader effort by Carnival Corporation to streamline its operations and cultivate a unified corporate culture across its various cruise brands.
