Celebrity Beyond Sets Sail: Miami Homeport Operations Now Underway

On May 4th, the Celebrity Beyond, a vessel from Celebrity Cruises’ EDGE class, made its inaugural arrival at PortMiami in Florida, officially marking the start of its homeport operations in the city. The ship docked at Royal Caribbean’s Terminal A after a short repositioning voyage from Port Everglades, where it had just completed a six-night Eastern Caribbean cruise.

Launched in 2022, Celebrity Beyond has a gross tonnage of 141,420 and can accommodate up to 3,260 passengers. It will be offering alternating seven-night cruises to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Miami through November 2026.

The Eastern Caribbean itineraries feature stops at several popular destinations, including San Juan, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Nassau, Bahamas, and Basseterre, St. Kitts. Meanwhile, the Western Caribbean cruises will take guests to Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas.

Guests aboard the Celebrity Beyond can enjoy a wide array of dining options with 32 food and beverage venues that include eight specialty restaurants, four main dining rooms, and various casual and private dining experiences. The ship is also equipped with numerous bars, lounges, and recreational facilities designed to enhance the overall passenger experience.

The Celebrity Beyond will operate from its Miami homeport until November 2026, after which it is set to return to Fort Lauderdale.
