Pandaw Cruises has announced the launch of a new river cruise vessel, the RV Hanoi Pandaw, which is set to start operations on November 1, 2026. This 16-cabin ship will join the existing RV Angkor Pandaw, enhancing Pandaw’s capabilities to meet the rising demand for river expeditions in northern Vietnam.

Currently under construction in Haiphong, the RV Hanoi Pandaw is designed in the company’s traditional colonial style, adorned with brass and teak finishes. The ship will operate a 10-day itinerary covering the Red River and Halong Bay, offering passengers a rich glimpse into the rural landscapes and cultural heritage of northern Vietnam.

Paul Strachan, the founder of Pandaw Cruises, highlighted that northern Vietnam represents one of the last unexplored regions for river exploration in Asia.
