Celebrating Resilience: Ambassador Commemorates the 80th Anniversary of VE Day on Ambience
Ambassador Cruise Line commemorated the 80th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) with a festive "British Street Party" aboard the Ambience during its "Treasures of the Mediterranean" voyage, which set sail from London Tilbury on May 5, 2025, bound for Lisbon.
The celebration included a two-minute silence to honor the occasion, followed by a series of engaging activities themed around VE Day. Guests enjoyed traditional British foods, participated in trivia, and enjoyed a sing-along. The festivities featured a cabaret show and a special vignette performance titled "Iris." The ship was adorned with Union Flags, along with red, white, and blue balloons, creating a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate this significant historical event.
